Summer Intern Programs
The Borchard Foundation Center on Law & Aging provides funding for several law student summer internships in elder law. These internships are with non-profit agencies around the country. Applications for the internships are made directly with these agencies. The summer interships are with the American Bar Association Commission on Law and Aging in Washington, D.C., the Senior Lawyer Volunteer Project with Utah Legal Services in Salt Lake City, Utah, and the National Senior Citizens Law Center offices in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and Oakland, California.
Our Mission
The mission of the Borchard Foundation Center on Law & Aging is, through education, research and service, to help improve the quality of life for elderly people, including those who are poor or otherwise isolated by lack of education, language, culture, disability or other barriers.
